“FREEDOM” 6 yr old Grade mare 14.3hh
Freedom is an athletic mare that learns quickly.
She’s happy to ride out by herself or with other horses.
She loads, ties and picks up her feet.
All around very good ground manners.
She’s easy to halter and takes the snaffle bit well.
Has a lot of forward motion and is improving on her stops and backs up.
She has a good start with moving off of legs and seat and is picking up on neck reigning quite well.
She’s used to a swinging rope and I’ve picked up some heels off of her. I’ve moved cattle with her and she loves it ❤️ She’s cowy but gets along with cows and calves very well.
Cons
Whens shes had too much time off She gets cinchy and has a hard time standing still for the cinch. Once saddled a little lunge works it out of her.
She gets startled by strange objects sometimes but is improving.
Because of these She is not a beginners horse at this point yet. Unfortunately I don’t have the time for her that she needs.
Otherwise She’s very low maintenance and ready to go to work.
